When it came to the flooring, Quality Home Renovators knew that they had to find something that would not only match the historical elements of the house but also provide durability and longevity. That's why they chose reclaimed heart pine flooring extracted from a factory in Chicago. The factory beams were milled into flooring which added a unique touch to the space. The new flooring not only provides durability but also gives the space a warm and inviting feel.

The team also paid attention to the structural elements of the house, by re-framing the walls, adding structural piers under the house, and jacking the house to a level elevation. The new windows and doors not only provide better energy efficiency but also allow natural light to flood the space, making it feel bright and airy. Recessed lights were added to brighten up the space and a new fireplace hearth and a fresh coat of paint was added to give the room a fresh and simplistic feel.
